Mr. Feb is a Recognized Expert within the Fireplace and Chimney Industry. Mr. Feb is the Lead Investigator and Senior Inspector at F.I.R.E. Associates, a Nationwide Consulting Corporation. F.I.R.E. Associates Provides Professional Fireplace, Chimney and Venting Consulting for Residential and Commercial Application. He is a Pioneer in the Hearth Inspection Industry and has served the Hearth and HVAC industry for over 45 years. He is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator, Past Chairman of the NFPA 211 Committee, Past President of the California Conference of Arson Investigators, Serves on Several UL Task Groups, Co-Author of two UL Testing Standards, and Provides Fire Investigation, Consulting Services, Litigation Support, Criminal Investigation, Plan Review & Analysis, Industry Training, Product Failure Analysis, Construction & Design Analysis, Disaster Assessment, Resale Inspection, and much more. Mr. Feb is the CEO, Senior Editor, and Instructor for the F.I.R. E. Service Training Program. This Training Includes the Certified Fireplace & Chimney Inspector Program, Certified Technician Program, and the Hearth Mechanics On-line Training System. He Currently Holds Six ICC / UBC Certifications as a Building, Combination Dwelling, and Mechanical Inspector. Mr. Feb is also an IAPMO Certified Mechanical Inspector. Mr. Feb is a California State Building Inspector with the California’s Governor’s Office of Emergency Services. His Broad Experience with the Hearth, Mechanical, and Fire Investigation Industry qualifies him as a Subject Matter Expert. His hands-on experience in Product Installation, Building Code Development and Enforcement, Hearth System Sales, and Product Development has placed him at the top of his industry.

Jacob W. Feb / Consultant / Certified Inspector 

Jacob Feb has been involved in the fireplace and chimney industry since 2004. From assisting in the inspection of fireplaces, appliances, chimneys, and vents to digging out his first fire scene in 2014. Jacob Feb started his full-time career at F.I.R.E. Associates in November 2018. His job performance requirements consisted of inspections, consulting, and fire investigation throughout the nation. At the same time, Mr. Feb works at F.I.R.E. Service as the Education Coordinator and co-author of F.I.R.E. Inspector, F.I.R.E. Technician, and F.I.R.E. Mechanics Training and Certification Programs. Jacob Feb is an active member of the NFPA 211 Standards Committee and a F.I.R.E. Certified Fireplace & Chimney Inspector. He has co-presented numerous times for both F.I.R.E. Service and F.I.R.E. Associates. These presentations were provided to the hearth professionals, property inspectors, and both public and private fire investigators.
